Frequently asked questions

Here are some common questions about our School.

Yes. Homeschooling is legal and recognized by the Department of Education (DepEd) under the Alternative Delivery Modes program. The current guidelines are found in DepEd Order No. 001, s. 2022.

If you enroll with a DepEd-accredited provider, they handle the registration and paperwork for you. If you choose independent homeschooling, you do not register directly with DepEd, but your child will need to take the PEPT (Philippine Educational Placement Test) or ALS (Alternative Learning System) exam if you want them to re-enter the formal school system.

Homeschooling can begin at any age. DepEd follows the K–12 system: Kindergarten starts at age 5, and Grade 1 at age 6. However, many families start informal homeschooling earlier through play-based learning.
